The good news is that, even though I haven’t been posting, I have been writing.\u00a0 I finished the first draft of my second novel back in October, but then I decided to re-write the ending completely (among other edits), so I just finished a second draft today.\u00a0 I’m going to have Erinn and a couple of others give it a read and then we’ll see where we’re at, but I think it’s pretty close.\u00a0 I think I’m going to call it The Prophet of Marathon<\/em>.\u00a0 More to come on this (hopefully) soon!<\/p>\n Also, earlier this fall, I finished a short story called Short-Changed<\/em>.\u00a0 I’ve submitted it to a handful of journals and magazines, so we’ll see if it goes anywhere.\u00a0 One way or the other, I’ll get it out there.<\/p>\n As for Peripheral Involvement<\/em>, the\u00a0ranking boost fuled by\u00a0my early September discount\/promotions has faded.\u00a0 Sic transit gloria mundi<\/em>, I suppose.\u00a0 I\u00a0am happy to report, though,\u00a0that the book\u00a0has continued to sell, albeit\u00a0in modest numbers.<\/p>\n I plan to do a better job posting here, so look for more updates soon!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" … although you wouldn’t know it if you looked at my blog.
